Dear LiLT SIG members,
I want to say thank you for being members of the Literature in Language Teaching SIG. I would also like to quickly introduce myself as the new President of LiLT. My name is Camilo Villanueva, and I took over from Suzanne Kamata this January. I would like to send a big thanks to Suzanne for all of her hard work at LiLT and especially for her help in easing my transition to this new role.
As part of my duties representing all of you members of the LiLT SIG, I attended, virtually, the February EBM (executive board meeting) and met with other leaders of SIGs and Chapters, along with the directors of JALT. Below are some of my notes that may be of relevance to you and others.
